We’re excited to share that Cincy Jewfolk’s second annual live storytelling show, Stories from the Tribe: Cincy, is returning on Monday, November 9, 2026, and story submissions are now open!
Stories From the Tribe is Cincy Jewfolk’s biggest night of the year — a joyful evening of Jewish storytelling that also fuels everything we do.
This November’s show will feature 12 women on the bima telling their true Jewish stories that have a thread to Jewish motherhood – whether that’s about being or having a Jewish mom, Bubbe, mother-in-law, etc. – and will include all of the ups and downs, highs and lows, laughs and tears that come with the real-life experience of Jewish motherhood in Cincinnati.
This will be a night of storytelling, connection, and community. We’d love for you to audition for the show!
Virtual Auditions are on Wednesday, August 12!
This is what makes a great Stories from the Tribe story.
- Focused on a specific moment in time
- Rich in detail, emotion, and honesty
- Connected to the experience of being or having a Jewish mother, bubbe, mother-in-law, etc
- Told in your voice, just the way you’d share it out loud with a friend
You can find more details on what we’re looking for and get full submission details here.
If you have any questions at all or need help making an audition slot work with your schedule, please email [email protected], and we will try to help.
At a time when sharing our Jewish stories feels more vital than ever, we invite you to take the mic and be part of this live on-the-bima show.
To listen to the types of stories we’ve had in the past, listen to our show and meet our storytellers from last year, Stories from the Tribe: Cincinnati.
It’s your story, tell it!
