Jewish on Campus: Workshop
Being Jewish on Campus comes with a unique set of challenges, especially in
2024. Join other Jewish college students to build community and discuss ways
to navigate today’s college life. Come for one or both of these **FREE**
events. Whether you just want to unwind with a round of mini golf, or dig
deeper into the issues facing young Jewish adults at the interactive workshop,
we look forward to seeing you there.
**Jewish on Campus: Navigating Today’s College Life**
Sunday, August 11, 10am-2:30pm
The Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust and Humanity Center
1301 Western Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45203
This workshop is FREE for incoming and returning Jewish college students. It
aims to equip Jewish college students with the knowledge, resources, and
strategies to navigate campus life amidst rising antisemitism and anti-Zionist
rhetoric. Created and led by Dr. Caroline Winstel, this event includes panel
discussions with current college students, a Jewish Family Service Embedded
Social Worker at Cincinnati Hillel, local Israelis directly impacted by the
events of October 7, and others. It is highly participatory and grounded in
iCenter pedagogy. Lunch is included.
