Jewish and Israeli Film Festival: Paddle for Life & The Holy Closet

**_Paddling for Life | Documentary Short_**
This documentary is the story of the _Pink Lionesses, Israel_ , a unique
women’s sports group, consisting of breast cancer survivors, that paddle on
Dragon Boats, on the Sea of Galilee in Northern Israel. Their common goal is
to recover, recuperate and combat their cancer. They have chosen optimism,
action, caring for themselves despite the intense difficulties and fear they
must rise from.

** _The Holy Closet | Documentary Feature_**
What does the wedding ceremony of two religious Jewish gay men look like? Or
the pregnancy of a trans religious man? These are the stories of LGBTQ people
who chose to remain religious Jews and to build their lives, relationships,
families, and everyday activities according to the Jewish religion.
