Tuesdays with Torah | Powerful Women: Rethinking Gender, Power, and Torah

When we think of the main characters throughout the Hebrew Bible, most of them
are male. Abraham, our foremost patriarch; Moses, the revered leader who
guided us out of slavery; David, the storied monarch. But what about the
women? This session explores bold, complex female figures in the
Bible—prophets, warriors, judges, and survivors. We will read their stories
and discuss what messages and lessons they have for all of us today.
