Scout Shabbat 2026

Join the Jewish Committee on Scouting, Dan Beard Council, for SCOUT
SHABBAT**,** a community-wide Friday night Shabbat service for Jewish scouts
and their families as well as non-Jewish scouts and their families interested
in learning more about Judaism and the Jewish community of Greater Cincinnati.

**All scouts, current and former, are encouraged to wear their scout uniform
and participate in the service. The first 20 youth scouts to arrive at the
event will receive a Scout Shabbat patch.**

Our service will be led by Rabbi Eric Slaton, a member of the JCOS committee.
Scout Shabbat is sponsored by the Jewish Committee on Scouting, Dan Beard
Council, in partnership with the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio, Jewish
Federation of Cincinnati and the Mayerson JCC .
