Rainbow Waters: A Pride Pool Party

**_Honoring our bodies and the ancient Jewish tradition of Mikveh_**

During Pride Month (June), LGBTQ+ communities honor the history and struggle
of those who fought for LGBTQ+ rights and celebrate through parades, parties,
and events. This gender-inclusive pool party will welcome swimmers (and those
just dipping their feet in) in a family-friendly, private, and gender-
affirming environment, ensuring the LGBTQ+ Jewish community has a place to
celebrate pride together.

This event will be at the Mayerson JCC outdoor pool and will include pizza
(with gluten-free and dairy-free options), music, and drinks!

_What is elech?_
elech is Cincinnati’s Queer Jewish Community that fosters belonging for
members of our community.

_Do I have to be Jewish?_
No! And we’re not a synagogue, and our leaders aren’t always rabbis.

_Do I have to be queer?_
Not necessarily. We’re a radically welcoming community, come as you are.
please be mindful of intentionally creating a safe and validating space for
queer people to practice jewishly, together.
