Jewish Values & the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict – Session #4 | Attitudes Toward the Land: The Jewish Perspective
_Jewish Values & the Israeli–Palestinian Conflict_ is an 8-session Sunday
morning learning series rooted in curriculum from the Shalom Hartman
Institute. For decades, Israel served as a unifying symbol across the global
Jewish community—but in recent years, and especially following the events of
October 7, 2023, it has become a source of pain, tension, and deep
disagreement.
This course aims to foster a renewed sense of shared peoplehood by exploring
the values that shape diverse Jewish perspectives on Israel and the
Israeli–Palestinian conflict. Together, we will engage with themes such as
justice, security, dignity, peoplehood, and peace. Rather than advocating a
single political stance, we will cultivate space for respectful dialogue,
strengthening our ability to learn from one another, stay connected across
differences, and hold complexity with honesty and care.
**Registration requested. Sessions take place at Wise Center.**
