AJC Cincinnati 2024 National Human Relations Award

(https://ajc.org) stands as the preeminent global advocate for the Jewish
people, championing a world where extremism finds no refuge, human rights are
upheld, and democratic values flourish. Collaborating with leaders from all
walks of life, AJC remains steadfast in its commitment to leverage its global
prowess for local impact, as well as advancing the shared principles and
priorities that bind Jews and their allies.

In the wake of Hamas’ vicious October 7 attack and the unprecedented rise in
antisemitism, AJC has elevated the resolve of its diverse network to counter
these malicious forces looking to gain traction throughout our communities.
Our friends understand this existential threat and know this is a time to
affirm their support for AJC and its impactful work.

Steve and Julie have been a force of nature in their community. Upon arriving
in Cincinnati, they immediately plunged into community service, joining the
AJC board during a significant family milestone— the birth of their first son.
Over three decades, their leadership has graced organizations such as the
United Way, Last Mile Food Rescue, Talbert House, Jewish Federation, Teach for
America, the Playhouse, Cincinnati Ballet, and many more, each time leaving an
indelible mark of progress and innovation.

Sarah and Tim’s unwavering dedication to social impact shines brightly through
their tireless efforts uplifting organizations such as the Cincinnati Ballet,
Cincinnati Cancer Advisors and the CRBC. We also commend their remarkable
leadership and achievements in the educational space and Catholic community
through their service to McNicholas High School, St. Ursula Academy, Educate
NKY, and Idea Public Schools. We recognize the profound significance of this
juncture in history for the Jewish community and acknowledge Tim and Sarah’s
heartfelt support during these moments.
Your meaningful participation and meaningful gift will help ensure the success
of this celebratory occasion.
