Shomrei (guardians of) Olam (the earth) is dedicated to bringing forth a green, sustainable future for the Jewish community, the Greater Cincinnati area, and the nation and planet, at large. It is working towards greening the lives of individuals, their households, and their work places.
It seeks to make the institutions of the Jewish community and its places of gathering, education, and worship, more sustainable. Together we can set examples for each other and for fellow members of our own community, and for the larger community of which we are a part. It is the responsibility of each of us, in his and her own way, to protect our common home.
