The American Jewish Archives (AJA) collects and preserves materials on the history of Jews and Jewish communities in the Western Hemisphere, and makes them available for research.
It sponsors numerous exhibits, symposia, and programs that promote the study of American Jewish history within the context of the broader American community. The AJA’s scholarly publications include “The American Jewish Archives Journal.” The AJA website contains the collection’s online catalog and downloadable educational resources.
