Our first annual Stories from the Tribe: Cincinnati show was everything we wanted it to be.
Heartwarming, funny, thoughtful.
It was a chance for our community to gather, and for our stories to be told.
We promised 12 stories read on the bima by their author, who are all local Cincinnati women, and that each story would have something to do with being or having a Jewish mother and include all of the ups and downs, highs and lows, laughs and tears that come with the real-life experience of Jewish motherhood in Cincinnati.
And that’s exactly what the evening was!
When the show was over, our audience wanted more.
And we want to deliver that, too!
So while we wait for the 2026 live storytelling show – Save the date! November 9th, 2026 – Jewfolk, Inc.’s Editor-in-Chief Lonny Goldsmith and I are thrilled to bring you Stories from the Tribe: Cincinnati … the Podcast!
Listen to “Stories From The Tribe: Cincinnati” on Spreaker.
While nothing compares to the live show, hearing the stories in community, and reacting to them as an audience, this podcast is a really, really close second!
Each week, we’ll release one episode.
And every episode includes an interview between Lonny and the storyteller and the storyteller reading her story.
We hope you love it as much as we do!
Below, you can hear Lonny tell you more about the show and we’ll be back right here next week with the first episode of Stories from the Tribe: Cincinnati … the Podcast!
New episodes drop Wednesdays here, or wherever you get your podcasts.
