In the early hours of June 13, the Israeli Air Force carried out strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and military sites in Operation Rising Lion. There were multiple waves of attacks carried out on targets throughout Iran, showing the years of preparation by Israeli intelligence and military. In response the IRGC launched missile and drone attacks against Israel.
The strikes came during tension over Iran’s nuclear program. And earlier this week, the Iranian regime was censured by the United Nations watchdog group the International Atomic Energy Agency for obtaining weapons-grade uranium.
