A capella group Six13 has chosen two songs from the cultural phenomenon Wicked for the group’s annual Hanukkah song. The group used the well-known hits Defying Gravity and Popular to create A Wicked Chanukah. “Defining Destiny” a play on Defying Gravity, features historical images of Israel interspersed with video of Oct. 7 hostages returning home and their families at rallies. “Chanukah” is a play on Popular, with the singers playing dreidel with Galinda and Elphaba.
