Since the Women’s March in January 2017, there has been much excellent reporting on the ties that the organization’s co-chairs, Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory, have to the Louis Farrakhan, the head of Nation of Islam.
Farrakhan, who, in classic anti-Semitic tropes, regularly calls Jews sub-human, satanic, and immoral people to be feared because we are trying to control the world. He further claims that American Jews were the leaders of the slave trade, worked with Hitler for monetary gain, try to control the minds and sexuality of African Americans, and planned 9/11. He also spews vile hate speech against the LGBTQ community.
Sarsour and Mallory have continued to associate with Farrakhan. Sarsour has accused American Jews of masquerading as liberals who always choose Israel over democracy. She accused ADL of “bias against black and brown people,” and pressured Starbucks to remove ADL from their anti-bigotry training program. She has publicly claimed that feminists can’t be Zionists and that Israelis shouldn’t be humanized.
In addition to Mallory referring to Farrakhan as “The Greatest of All Time,” just 10 months ago, Mallory dog-whistled that Jews were the enemy of Jesus (i.e., Christ killers), which has been used for millennia to incite the masses against the Jews, leading to unspeakable death and destruction of our people.
