DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, June 7\, join Cincinnati Jewish young adults at the historic Walnut\nStreet Cemetery for an afternoon of service\, history\, and community.\nWe’ll be working alongside the **Jewish Cemeteries of Greater Cincinnati\n(JCGC)**  to place markers on the graves of Holocaust survivors. It’s a quiet\,\nmeaningful act. A way of saying: we remember. You are not forgotten.\nThe afternoon will include a welcome and time to socialize\, a guided\nhistorical tour of the cemetery (which holds the graves of some of\nCincinnati’s most notable figures and unique markers)\, the marker placements\,\nand possibly some flower planting.\nCome for the mitzvah. In 2020\, 53 million family members were caring for\nloved ones\, and that number continues to grow. Join us to learn more and gain\na better understanding of what individuals experience with dementia.\nThis program is for anyone affected by dementia. Learn what a care partner is\n(it may surprise you).\nThe evening will include three parts. First\, an interactive presentation for\ncaregivers about dementia\, including a Q&A session facilitated by Diane\nSlovin\, Certified Independent Positive Approach to Care® Advanced\nConsultant/Mentor. Second\, a presentation from Grace Hospice covering hospice\ncare and the signs that it may be appropriate. Finally\, Grace Hospice will\nlead the interactive Dementia Live+ experience to help you better understand\nhow dementia affects your loved one’s perception of life.\nThis valuable information will help you navigate the frustrations that both\ncaregivers and loved ones may experience.
