SUMMARY:Gav Israel: Train Like You Mean It
DESCRIPTION:**A free fitness program for Cincinnati teens—built on strength\, grit\, and\nreal connection.  ** \nIn Israel\, some high schoolers join fitness groups to prepare for military\nservice. Gav Israel gives Cincinnati teens a taste of that same experience. \nGav Israel (Hebrew: “Israel’s Back”) is a free\, four-session fitness program\nopen to students in grades 9–12. Led by Yarden\, one of our Chaverim M’Israel\,\nalongside a martial arts instructor\, each session combines strength training\,\naerobics\, motivation\, teamwork\, and mental toughness—all in a group\nenvironment where you push each other to show up and get stronger. \nEach session will be dedicated to the memory of a fallen Israeli soldier.\nSign up for one session or all four. Either way\, you’re in. \n**Sessions:**\n  * Thursday\, April 16 | 6–7 p.m.\n  * Thursday\, April 23 | 6–7 p.m.\n  * Thursday\, May 7 | 6–7 p.m.\n  * Thursday\, May 14 | 6–7 p.m.\n**Optional Session:**  Thursday\, April 30 | 6–7 p.m. | Class led by the martial arts studio  \n**Cost:**  Free\, plus every participant receives a free t-shirt! \n**Location:**  Provided after registration\nNote: All participants will be required to complete a liability waiver from\nthe Jewish Federation of Cincinnati and the martial arts studio prior to their\nfirst session. \n**Open to grades 9–12.**   \nView event on Jlive: https://jlive.app/events/15219
