DESCRIPTION:**Jim and Meredith Friedman\, and Kathy and Louis Claybon to be honored with\nthe 2026 American Jewish Committee (AJC) Community Service Award**.\nNearly 48 years ago\, Justin Friedman received the American Jewish Committee’s\nHuman Rights Medallion in recognition of his dedication to building\nunderstanding between Jewish and non-Jewish communities\, his leadership as\nPresident of the Cincinnati Chapter of AJC\, and his involvement in numerous\norganizations. Together\, Justin and his wife\, Frances\, established a family\ntradition of community service that has spanned generations. Today\, that\nlegacy lives through his children\, Jim and Meredith Friedman\, and Kathy and\nLouis Claybon\, whose collective leadership and contributions to Jewish life\nand the Greater Cincinnati community are being recognized with the 2026 AJC\nCommunity Service Award. Above all else\, family is the guiding principle for\nMeredith\, Jim\, Kathy\, and Louis. They all grew up with large\, nurturing\nextended families that regularly celebrated life cycle and holiday occasions\ntogether.
