DESCRIPTION:Presented by: Amy Katz \nHow does one age “wisely\,” open doors to new opportunities\, and effectively\nnavigate life’s challenges? Through this course geared primarily for those\nages 55-75\, we will come together for authentic\, meaningful\, and honest\nconversations. Participants will discuss how to live with joy and fulfillment\nin the years ahead\, while coping with the inevitable loss and changes that\ncome with aging. In 2020\, 53 million family members were caring for\nloved ones\, and that number continues to grow. Join us to learn more and gain\na better understanding of what individuals experience with dementia.\nThis program is for anyone affected by dementia. Learn what a care partner is\n(it may surprise you).\nThe evening will include three parts. First\, an interactive presentation for\ncaregivers about dementia\, including a Q&A session facilitated by Diane\nSlovin\, Certified Independent Positive Approach to Care® Advanced\nConsultant/Mentor. Second\, a presentation from Grace Hospice covering hospice\ncare and the signs that it may be appropriate.
