“Ukraine, Dear Motherland” A Benefit Concert for Freedom

Hope4Ukraine, in collaboration with artistic director Regina Appatova and
Northern Hills Synagogue, proudly presents “Ukraine, Dear Motherland”—a
benefit concert for freedom on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Northern Hills
Synagogue. This special evening honors the bravery and resilience of Ukrainian
soldiers in their ongoing struggle against Russian oppression.

The concert will feature Oleg Osadchiy , an acclaimed Ukrainian poet,
composer, and songwriter from Odessa, along with The Black Sea Band,
performing a two-part concert of beloved Ukrainian songs and original
compositions. The evening will also include performances by Folk Dance Group
“ZABAVA”, showcasing traditional Ukrainian dance, and Ballroom Studio “MBDC”,
presenting elegant ballroom performances.

The concert will be conducted in Ukrainian, with brief English synopses
provided by the MC. A visual journey of Ukrainian nature, landmarks, and
culture will accompany the performance.

All Are Welcome! We warmly invite all members of the local Ukrainian
community, whether long-established or recently arrived, and anyone eager to
embrace and celebrate the vibrant Ukrainian culture through music and dance is
invited to join us for this special evening.

The Northern Hills Synagogue Sanctuary will be transformed into a charming
Ukrainian village. There will be complimentary light snacks & beverages
available for purchase. There will also be a Ukrainian souvenir exhibition &
sale (cash preferred).
