ProSeniors Ombudsmen, Here for You!

Remember behind every number is a person who deserves to be heard, respected,
and protected.

Every resident in a long-term care facility has the right to dignity, quality
care, and a voice in decisions about their lives. The Ombudsmen are resident
rights advocates for individuals who reside in a long-term care facility like
a nursing home or assisted living community. Ombudsmen can advocate directly
on behalf of a resident who desires help.

At this program, you will find explanations for legal protections, step-by-
step guides to help you voice concerns and request changes, resources for
complaints and reporting, and more. Participants will be able to utilize this
knowledge to screen for issues with your loved one’s care.
