Americans have rarely been as polarized as we are today. We are aware of how
polarized our country is: Democrats, Republicans, and Independents seemingly
live in separate and divided worlds. Political disagreements aren’t wrong, in
fact, this is an important part of a healthy democracy. The difference in our
current situation is that the political divisions are limiting our ability to
function effectively as a country and straining relationships. A Pew Research
Study in October 2019 found an overwhelming majority of respondents wanted
less divisiveness and more cooperation. However, polarization is not just an
American problem but it is a worldwide problem.
Join us to review eleven key sources that are contributing to polarization.
Then discover tools and skills to help us overcome this divisiveness and
bridge the divide.
